    From April 20 to 22, an official delegation from Anhui Province, led by Governor Wang Qingxian, visited Hong Kong to strengthen cooperation in trade, industry, innovation, education, finance, talent development, and cultural exchange. During the visit, Governor Wang met with John Lee Ka-chiu, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Zhou Ji, Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, to discuss opportunities for deeper cooperation and regional development.


    On the afternoon of April 20, the First Anhui–Hong Kong Innovation and Development Partnership Conference was held, bringing together more than 120 representatives from government, business, academia, and related organizations. The conference witnessed the signing of 19 cooperation agreements and projects and the official launch of the Anhui-Hong Kong Innovation and Development Partnership Network.


    Yu Zhuyun, Chairman of Central New Energy (01735.HK), was invited to attend the conference and participated in the launch ceremony in his capacity as a member of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (Hong Kong), Executive Vice President of the Hong Kong Anhui Friendship Association, and Founding President of the Hong Kong Hefei Fellowship Association.


    During the visit, Governor Wang also met with representatives of Anhui organizations and communities in Hong Kong to discuss opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, technological innovation, cultural exchange, and talent development. At the meeting, Yu Zhuyun shared his views on strengthening Anhui-Hong Kong cooperation and highlighted the role that enterprises can play in supporting closer collaboration between the two regions. Governor Wang encouraged participants to continue serving as bridges for cooperation and to promote deeper and more substantive exchanges between Anhui and Hong Kong.
