On May 19, Central New Energy Holding Group (01735.HK) (Central New Energy) and Suzhou Black Crown Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (Black Crown PV) announced the establishment of a joint venture to jointly develop perovskite/silicon tandem solar cell technologies for space applications. The partnership aims to accelerate the commercialization of next-generation space solar technologies and provide advanced energy solutions for future space-based computing infrastructure. The signing ceremony was attended by Shi Wenda, CEO of Black Crown PV; Liang Gang, Co-founder of Black Crown PV; Li Menglin, Party Secretary and Vice President of Central New Energy; Zou Min, President of CHG EnSOL Renewable (Anhui) Group Co., Ltd.; and Shen Wenzhong, Chief Scientist, Yang Yu, Chief Financial Officer, and Zhang Mengqian, Investment Director of the Finance & Investment Center, all of Central New Energy.
