In May, the Huainan Science and Technology Bureau announced the first group of approved Huainan Key Laboratories and Industrial Innovation Institutes, including 23 key laboratories and 8 industrial innovation institutes. Among the approved institutions is Central New Energy Advanced PV Cell Manufacturing (Anhui) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Central New Energy (01735.HK), which has been approved to establish the Huainan Key Laboratory for Advanced PV Cell Research and Development.
